The Remote Desktop Protocol (Abbreviated as"RDP“) is a specification by
Microsoft for remote control of applications.
Microsoft has replaced the earlier name “M

(Abbreviated as “MSTSC”) by the term RDP-Client.
A detailed description of this term can be found on Microsoft's website.
Likewise, it can also be found in the Windows-Help feature using the
search criteria “mstsc” and “rdp”.
