Improperbearingadjustment.
Wornbearingsorconnectingrods.
NOTE:Valvenoiseiscommonandnormalinhighspeedpumps.Itshouldnotcauseconcernunless
itbecomeserratic.

Incorrecttypeofpackingforparticularinstallation.

Anewpumpwillrunhotforashortperiod(2or3days).Seeaboveforpersistentheating.Pump
willoperatenear140˚F.underaverageconditions.
Checkforairinpumpbybleedingatcovercaps.
ToomuchspringtensionReciprocatingpumpshaveverylimitedpickup.
