 Replaceanyworkpartbeforeitseventualfailure.Usethefollowinginstructionsforremovalandreplacementofparts.Don’thesitatetocall
onKerrPumpsforhelpifnecessary.

A. WINGGUIDEDVALVES
i. DISCHARGEVALVES:Thedischargevalveandseatcanbeexposedbyfirstremovingthedischargevalvecovercap.Oncethe
dischargecovercaphasbeenremovedyoumayliftoutthedischargevalvespringandthedischargevalve.Thevalveseatwillbeheld
inplacebyataperfitandmustbe“pulled”withanappropriatevalve‐pullingtool(availablefromtheKerrPumpsDealers).Oncethe
valveandseathavebeenremovedtheyshouldberesurfacedorreplacedifbadlyworn.Toreplacethedischargevalve,firstcleanand
inspecttheseatboreforwashoutdefectsandthendroptheseatintothebore.Replacethevalveintotheseatandstrikethetopof
