Do not mix detergents under any circumstances and ensure sufficient ventilation
in enclosed spaces.
DO NOT use harsh detergents, solvents or products that contain phosphates,
chlorine, solvents or products that are not biodegradable or oil-based products.
IMPORTANT: Waxes or detergents containing alcohol must NOT be used on the
boat fabric. Alcohol dries out the boat tissue prematurely.
Citrus-based cleaners are great for cleaning boats and safe for you and the
environment.
Your inflatable boat is best cleaned with water and regular soap.
SMALL REPAIRS
For small holes, you can use the material supplied in the repair kit.
For larger areas or if the patch overlaps a seam the damage should be repaired by a
professional repair mechanic in an inflatable boat repair shop.
For best adhesive results, the relative humidity should be less than 60%, the temperature
should be between 18°C and 25°C (65°F and 77°F). Do not carry out such repairs in direct
sunlight.
In general, the following procedure should be followed:
Cut out a patch large enough to overlap the damaged area by 30 mm on all
sides.
Center the overlapping patch on the damaged area and mark the outline of the
patch with a pencil.
Remove stains from the surface around the air leak and patches by roughening
this area evenly, but not too deeply, with sandpaper without exposing the fibers
of the material.
Clean the area around the damaged area and the patch.
Apply two thin layers of glue with a short-haired brush in a circle on the back of
the patch and on the area to be repaired on the boat. Allow the first layer to dry
completely (about 15 minutes) before the second layer is applied. The second
layer must dry until it is sticky. Then apply the patch to the prepared area and
press firmly. Remove any air bubbles trapped under the patch with a smooth
object (the back of a spoon works well). Work from the middle of the patch to the
outside.
Wait for 24 hours before inflating the boat again.
(WINTER) STORAGE
IMPORTANT To avoid discoloration of boat skin or hoses due to fouling or contaminated
waters, DO NOT leave the boat in the water for a long time.
After each operation, the boat and all parts should be washed with a mild soap
and rinsed with fresh water. Allow all parts to dry before storage in the carrying
bag. This prevents stick or mold stains.
Before storage, make sure that the product is absolutely dry.
