Usage Features
Operation:
The heater can be plugged into a suitable socket (AC power supply). The touch screen buttons on the product correspond to the remote control functions.
Control Panel Functions:
The touch screen display shows the following:
- Display: Shows current temperature, mode, and timer settings.
- Temperature "+" button: Increases the desired temperature.
- Temperature "-" button: Decreases the desired temperature.
- Power button: Turns the heater on/off or adjusts power settings.
- Mode button: Switches between different operating modes (e.g., low, high).
- Timer button: Sets the timer for automatic operation.
- Child Lock button: Locks the control panel to prevent accidental changes.
Power Function:
To turn the heater on, press the power button. The upper part of the display will show the room temperature. The heater operates under low heating conditions by default.
Mode Selection:
Press the "Mode" button to regulate performance at low or high temperatures.
Temperature Selection:
Press the "+" or "-" buttons to select the desired temperature from a range of 5°C to 40°C. The temperature indicator will remain lit for a long time.
Timer Function:
Press the timer button to select a desired range between 1 hour to 24 hours. The remaining time will appear on the display.
Child Lock:
Press the child lock button for 3 seconds to lock the heater. The display will show a lock icon, and the device will be locked. To unlock, press the child lock button again for 3 seconds.
Wi-Fi Connection (Tuya Smart App):
- Download the app: Scan the QR code or search for "Tuya Smart" in your app store.
- Register/Log in: Enter your country code, phone number, and verification code.
- Add device: Select "Heater" from the device list.
- Confirm indicator rapidly blinks: Ensure the indicator light on the device is blinking rapidly. If not, press the "Add Device" button for 3 seconds until it blinks rapidly.
- Enter Wi-Fi password: Connect your phone to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
- Connect: The app will connect to the device. Once connected, you can control the heater via the app.
App Functions:
- Temperature control: Adjust the temperature from your smartphone.
- Weekly timer: Set a weekly schedule for the heater to turn on/off at specific times and temperatures.
- Power control: Turn the heater on/off.
- Mode selection: Change heating modes.
- Child lock: Activate/deactivate child lock remotely.
Safety Instructions (Important):
- Read all instructions before using the heater.
- Connect the heater to a single-phase socket with a mains voltage as specified on the rating plate.
- Do not leave your home while the appliance is in function; ensure that the switch is in OFF (0) position and the thermostat is in minimum position. Always unplug the appliance.
- Keep combustible material such as furniture, cushions, bedding, paper, clothes, curtains, etc., at least 100cm away from the heater.
- Do not hand anything on or in front of the heater.
- Always use the heater in an upright position.
- Do not place the heater against walls, furniture, curtains, etc.
- Do not use the appliance in rooms less than 4m² area.
- Always unplug the heater when not in use. Do not pull the cord to unplug the heater.
- Do not install the heater directly below a socket-outlet.
- Do not let animals or children touch or play with the heater. Pay attention to the air outlet grill, do not cover it.
- Do not cover if operating, there is the risk of overheating.
- Do not use this heater in the vicinity of showers, bath tubs, wash basins or a swimming pool etc.
- Do not use the heater in rooms containing explosive gas, inflammable solvents, varnish or glue.
- Keep the heater clean. Do not allow any objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause electric shock or fire damage to the heater.
- If the heater has been dropped or damaged, it should not be used until it has been inspected by a qualified service center.
- Close supervision is necessary when the heater is being used by or near children, persons suffering from any physical impairment or pets.
- Do not use to dry clothes or any fabric.
- Do not use the heater to dry your laundry. Never obstruct the intake and outlet grilles (danger of overheating).
- Do not move the appliance while it is functioning in order to avoid overheating with the additional risk of fire.
- If any part of the heater or supply cord becomes damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified electrician in order to avoid a hazard.
- The heater must not be located immediately below a socket-outlet.
- Do not use this heater with a programmer, timer or any other device that switches the heater on automatically, since a fire risk exists if the heater is covered or positioned incorrectly.
- Do not leave the heater switched on when leaving your home or going to sleep.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience or knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- Children at less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
- Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
- Do not leave unattended when plug in to the mains supply.
