Procedure
1. Zero and calibrate the power meter.
2. Configure equipment as shown in Figure 15-4, with the power splitter
connected directly to the signal analyzer input through the adapter.
CAUTION To minimize stress on the test equipment connections, support the power sensor.
3. If the auto alignment for the analyzer has not been performed within the past
24 hours, press
System, Alignments, Align Now, All to perform the auto
alignment routine.
4. Press
Mode, Spectrum Analyzer, Mode Preset on the analyzer.
5. Set up the synthesized sweeper by pressing:
CW, 50, MHz

6. Set up the signal analyzer by pressing:
Input/Output, More, Freq Ref In, External
FREQ Channel, Center Freq, 50, MHz
SPAN X Scale
