Driving your vehicle Lane Following Assist (LFA)
screen will change from gray to
white.
Maintenance by car When the car
recognizes the lane, the color of the
lane changes from gray to white.

5-54.
WARNING
The LFA system is designed to help
the vehicle stay in its detected lane.
The LFA system does not guarantee
100% safety. Make sure you make
decisions on the road after checking
the road conditions and safety mat

ters while driving. Never completely
rely on your LFA system.
Warning message
If you keep your hands off the
wheel while driving with the LFA
system assisting the steering, the
hands-off warning will be triggered.
If the driver keeps hands off the
wheel e

en with the hands-off
warning on, the steering assist is
temporarily released automatically.
If you put your hands ba
ck
on the
wheel with the LFA system
released, the steering assist will re-
start.
CAUTION
Hands-off warnings may be
delayed depending on road condi

tions. Always keep your hands on
the steering wheel while driving.
Hold the steering wheel tight.

therwise, the LFA system could
misjudge that the driver's hands
are off the wheel, and a hands-
off warning may occur.
LFA malfunction
