Charging Electric Vehicle (Trickle Charge)
6. Open the charging door and then
open the inlet cover (1).
7. Open the protective cover of the
char
ging connector and check if
there is dust on the charging con
-
nector and charging inlet.
8. Hold the charging c
onnector han
-
dle and connect it to the vehicle
AC charging inlet.
9. Push the connector until you hear
a
"clicking" sound.
Charging starts automatically and
the
charging indicator lamp starts
to blink.
If the charging connector and
char
ging terminal are not connected
properly, this may cause a fire.
* Charging Connector AUTO/LOCK
Mode
When the charging connector and
the
char
ging inlet are connected,
you can choose the mode by
pressing button. The charging
connector will be locked at a dif
-
ferent time depending on the
selected mode.

OCK Mode: When the charging
c
onnector is properly con
-
nected, the charging connector
will be automatically locked.
䳜 AUT
O Mode: When the charging
c
onnector is properly connected
and charging is initiated, the
charging connector will be
locked, & will unlock when
charging has completed.

page 1-17.
10.Check if the charge indicator
lamp of the
high voltag
e battery
in the instrument cluster is
turned ON.
Charging does not occur when the
c
h
arging indicator lamp is OFF.
When the charging connector is
no
t connected properly, reconnect
the charging cable to charge it
again.
