High-pressure washing
When using high-pressure washers,
make sure to maintain sufficient
distance from the vehicle.
Insufficient clearance or excessive
p
r
essure can lead to component
damage or water penetration.
Do not spray the camera, sensors or
i
t
s surrounding area directly with a
high pressure washer. Shock applied
from high pressure water may
cause the device to not operate
normally.
Do not bring the nozzle tip close to
boots (rubber or plastic c
ov
ers) or
connectors as they may be dam
-
aged if they come into contact with
high pressure water.
After washing the vehicle, test the
brakes while driving slowly to see if
they have been affected by water. If
braking performance is impaired,
dry the brakes by applying them
lightly while maintaining a slow for
-
ward speed.
Wetting motor compartment
䳜 Water washing in the motor com
-
partment including high pressure
water washing may cause the
failure of electrical circuits located
in the motor compartment.
䳜 Ne
ver allow water or other liquids
to
come in contact with electrical/
electronic components inside the
vehicle as this may damage them.
䳜 T
o prevent damage to the
ch

and lock the vehicle doors when
washing (high-pressure washing,
automatic car washing, etc.) the
