Manual system functions to operate defrost:
1. Using knob

, select the Defrost

or Floor/Defrost
1
position.
2. Select any fan speed

(higher fan speeds will defrost the
windshield more quickly).
NOTE: In defrost mode some moisture may be visible on the
windshield during cool A/C operation. To eliminate this effect
adjust Temperature Control Button

as desired. This condition
occurs more at night and on cloudy days. Keep inside glass as
clean as possible to help reduce window fogging.
3. Select desired temperature.
4. When defrost mode

is selected A/C is operational,
and fresh air vent is open.
Mode Selection:
1. When selecting “OFF” on Mode Selection

, the fan does not operate, but
fresh air vent is automatically selected.
2. When selecting “MAX A/C,” fresh air vent
mode is not activated.
