Driving your vehicle Regenerative braking system
The paddle shifter does not operate
when:
僅 The ( ) and ( ) paddle shifters
are pulled at the same time.
僅 The vehicle is decelerating by
depressing the brake pedal.
僅 Smart Cruise Control is activated.
僅 Regenerative braking system is acti

vated when the vehicle state of
charge is 100%.
僅 SNOW mode is activated from DRIVE
MODE.
僅 Trailer is attached to the vehicle.
僅 Selecting 0 step of the regenerative
braking system, the brake disc clean
-
ing function is operated around 10
times. While operating to clean the
brake disc, the driving distance and
the regenerative braking performance
can be reduced. After finishing, the
regenerative braking performance will
be restored.
The selected regenerative braking level
is displayed on the instrument cluster.
Initial setting of the regenerative braking
level and adjustable range vary accord

ing to the selected Drive mode.

One pedal driving
The driver can stop the vehicle by pull
-
ing and holding the left side paddle
shifter.
To operate
僅 Pull and hold the left side paddle
shifter while coasting.
僅 When the vehicle speed is above 2
mph (3 km/h), release the paddle
shifter to return to the previously set
level.
僅 When the vehicle speed is below 2
mph (3 km/h), the function maintains
control to stop the vehicle even
though the paddle shifter is released.

vation, the driver can control the vehi

cle stopping position using the
accelerator pedal.
Automatic engagement of EPB
After the vehicle is stopped by the One
Pedal Driving function, EPB is automati

cally engaged when any of these condi

tions occur:
僅 The gear is shifted to P (Park).
僅 The driver's door is open.
僅 The hood is open.
僅 The liftgate is open.
僅 5 minutes have passed after the vehi

cle has stopped.
