Driver Position Memory System

僅 If fingerprint authentication fails over
5 consecutive times, fingerprint
enrollment and deletion may be tem

porarily restricted. You should try it
later or try other methods such as
inputting your password.
僅 When you visit an authorized Kia
dealer for repairs parts due to finger
-
print authorization system or related
part failure, your registered finger
-
print might be deleted. Have your
smart key with you when you visit an
authorized Kia dealer.
僅 You cannot use the fingerprint sensor
when the battery is discharged.
僅 If you turn the vehicle on or off while
proceeding the fingerprint authoriza
-
tion, the process will not complete.
Do not enroll children’s fingerprints in
the vehicle.If you enroll children’s finger
-
prints and leave them in the vehicle,
unexpected accidents may occur.
Used vehicle
When purchasing a used vehicle
If you purchase a used vehicle, you
should confirm and delete all of the
enrolled fingerprints in Driver 1 and
Driver 2 profile.
Driver Position Memory Sys

The Driver Position Memory System is
provided to store and recall the following
memory settings with a simple button
operation.
僅 Driver's seat position
僅 Outside rear view mirror
僅 Head-Up Display (HUD) (if equipped)
僅 Steering wheel (if equipped)
Never attempt to operate the driver
position memory system while the vehi
-
cle is moving.
This could result in loss of control, and
an accident causing death, serious
injury, or property damage.
僅 If the battery is disconnected, the
memory settings will be erased.
僅 If the Driver Position Memory System
does not operate normally, have the
system checked by an authorized Kia
dealer.
Storing memory positions
1. Shift to P (Park) while the EV button is
in the ON position.
