Avoidance Assist operation
Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance
Assist will warn and control the vehicle
depending on collision risk level:
僅 Collision warning
僅Emergency braking
僅 Stopping vehicle and ending brake
control
Collision warning
1 Collision Warning
Collision warning will alert the driver
with a warning light on the outside rear
view mirror (rear view mirror), a warning
message, an audible warning, and the
steering wheel will vibrate.
Collision warning will also appear on the
infotainment system screen.
Collision warning will operate when all
the following conditions are satisfied:
僅 The gear is shifted to R (Reverse)
while your driving speed is below 8
km/h (5 mph)
僅 The approaching vehicle is within
approximately 82 ft. (25 m) from the
left and right side of your vehicle
僅 The speed of the vehicle approaching
from the left and right is above 5 km/
h (3 mph)
僅 If the operating conditions are satis
-
fied, there will be a warning whenever
the vehicle approaches from the left
or right side even though your vehicle
speed is 0 km/h (0 mph).
僅 The images and colors in the cluster
may differ depending on the cluster
type or theme selected from the clus
-
ter.
