Maintenance Scheduled maintenance service
* 5. Valve clearance : Inspect for excessive valve noise and/or engine vibration and
adjust if necessary. Have an authorized Kia dealer perform the operation.
* 6. Drive belts (Engine) : Inspect alternator, water pump and air conditioner drive belt
and if necessary, repair or replace. Inspect drive belt tensioner, idler and alternator
pulley and if necessary correct or replace.
* 7. Manual transmission fluid / Dual clutch transmission (DCT) fluid : If the vehicle has
been submerged in water or in a flooded area, the fluids should be changed as a
precaution
僅 Fuel filter (gasoline engine): The fuel filter is considered to be maintenance free
but periodic inspection is recommended for this maintenance schedule depends
on fuel quality.
- If there are some important safety matters like fuel flow restriction, surging, loss
of power, hard starting problem etc, replace the fuel filter immediately regard
