Features of your vehicle Lighting
switch to the AUTO position when it is
dark outside, the headlamps will not be
turned off.
You can activate or deactivate the Head
-
lamp Delay function from the Settings
menu on the infotainment system
screen. If your vehicle is equipped with
an infotainment system, you can learn
how to set up on the website via QR
code in the infotainment quick reference
guide.
INFORMATION
The infotainment system may change
after software updates. For more infor
-
mation, refer to the user's manual pro
-
vided in the infotainment system and
the quick reference guide.
NOTICE
If the driver exits the vehicle through
another door besides the driver door,
the battery saver function does not
operate and the headlamp delay func
-
tion does not turn OFF automatically.
This may cause the battery to discharge.
To avoid battery discharge, turn OFF the
headlamps manually from the headlamp
switch before exiting the vehicle.
Daytime Running Light (DRL)
The Daytime Running Light (DRL) can
make it easier for others to see the front
of your vehicle during the day.
The DRL can be helpful in many differ
-
ent driving conditions, and it is especially
helpful after dawn and before sunset.
The DRL will turn the dedicated lamp
OFF when:
1. The headlamps are ON.
2. The vehicle is off.
3. The front fog light is on. (if equipped)
4. Engaging the parking brake.
Automatic Low beam light
Even if the light switch is in the OFF
position, the low beam headlights, tail
-
lights and the low beam indicator light
turns ON automatically to provide better
safety during low light environment.
The low beam headlights, taillight and
the low beam indicator light turns ON
when the outside brightness is below
1000 lux.
The Automatic low beam light will deac
-
tivate when:
Engaging the parking brake.
僅Gear is in P (Parking) position.
Lighting control
The light switch has a headlight and a
position lamp position.
To operate the lights, turn the knob at
the end of the control lever to one of the
following positions:
1. OFF position
2. Auto light position
3. Position & Tail lamp
4. Headlight position
