Brake fluid
WARNING
When changing and adding brake fluid,
handle it carefully. Do not let it contact
your eyes. If brake fluid should contact
your eyes, immediately flush them with
a large quantity of fresh tap water. Have
your eyes examined by a doctor as soon
as possible.
CAUTION
Proper fluid
Only use brake fluid in the brake system.
Even small amounts of improper fluids
can cause damage to the brake system.
CAUTION
Brake fluid
Do not allow brake fluid to contact the
vehicle's body paint, as paint damage
will result.
The brake fluid constantly absorbs mois
-
ture from the air. This lowers the boiling
point of the brake fluid. If the boiling
point is too low, vapor pockets may form
in the brake system when the brakes are
applied hard.
Brake fluid, which has been exposed to
open air for an extended time should
never be used as its quality cannot be
guaranteed. It should be disposed of
properly.

To maintain your vehicle’s best brake
and ABS/ESC performance, use Kia gen

uine brake fluid as in the specification.

CAUTION
Washer fluid
僅Do not use radiator coolant or anti -
freeze in the washer fluid reservoir.
Radiator coolant can severely obscure
visibility when sprayed on the wind -
shield and may cause loss of vehicle
control or damage to paint and body
trim. Windshield Washer fluid agents
contain some amounts of alcohol and
can be flammable under certain cir
-
cumstances. Do not allow sparks or
flame to contact the washer fluid or
the washer fluid reservoir. Damage to
your vehicle or occupants could occur.
僅 Windshield washer fluid is poisonous
to humans and animals. Do not drink
and avoid contacting windshield
washer fluid. Serious injury or death
could occur.
