Maintenance Climate control air filter
Climate control air filter
The climate control air filter should be
replaced according to the maintenance
schedule. If the vehicle is operated in
severely air-polluted cities or on dusty
rough roads for a long period, it should
be inspected more frequently and
replaced earlier.
Inspecting and replacing climate
control air filter
When you replace the climate control air
filter, replace it by performing the fol
-
lowing procedure. Be careful to avoid
damaging other components:
1. Open the glove box.
2. Remove the support rod.
3. Push in both sides of the glove box as
shown. This will ensure that the glove
box stopper pins will get released
from its holding location allowing the
glove box to hang.
4. Remove the climate control air filter
cover by pulling out right side of the
cover.
5. Replace the climate control air filter.
6. Reassemble in the reverse order of
disassembly.
When replacing the climate control air
filter install it properly. Otherwise, the
system may produce noise and the
effectiveness of the filter may be
reduced.
