Set speed
Cruise Control will allow you to drive at
speeds above 20 mph (30 km/h) without
depressing the accelerator pedal.
Cruise Control operation
Setting speed
1. Accelerate to the desired speed,
which must be more than 20 mph (30
km/h).
2. Press the Driving Assist button at the
desired speed. The set speed and
Cruise ( ) indicator will appear
on the cluster.
3. Release the accelerator pedal.
Vehicle speed will maintain the set
speed even when the accelerator
pedal is not depressed.
僅 The vehicle may slightly slow down or
speed up while driving uphill or down
-
hill.
僅 The Driving Assist button symbol may
vary depending on your vehicle
option.
Increasing set speed
僅Push the (+) switch up and release it
immediately. The set speed will
increase by 1 mph (1 km/h) each time
the switch is operated in this manner.
僅 Push the (+) switch up and hold it
while monitoring the set speed on the
cluster. The set speed will increase to
the nearest multiple of 5 in mph (mul
-
tiple of 10) at first, and then increase
by 5 mph (10 km/h) each time the
switch is operated in this manner.
Release the switch when the desired
speed is shown and the vehicle will
accelerate to that speed.
Decreasing set speed
僅 Push the (-) switch down and release
it immediately. The set speed will
decrease by 1 mph (1 km/h) each time
the switch is operated in this manner.
