Disable Direct Hazards / Safety Regulations
4. Follow the procedure below to remove the safety plug and disable the high voltage battery:
c) Remove the luggage cover board and the side luggage foam in the trunk.
d) Remove the safety plug cover (B) by removing the
mounting (10mm) bolts (A).

OPTIMA PHEV
a) Turn the ignition switch OFF and remove the luggage side trim [RH] side cover.
b) Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
