3. Use the wheel lug nut wrench to loosen the bolt
enough to lower the spare tire carrier assembly,
enough to access to the wing-nut securing the
spare tire.
4. Loosen the wing nut located on the spare tire
carrier assembly and then disconnect the latch
connecting the spare tire carrier to the spare tire
lock assembly.
