using the smart key
1. Remote start
2. Power sliding door opening (Driver's
side)
3. Power sliding door opening (Passen

4. Door lock
5. Door unlock
6. Liftgate unlock/open
7. Panic button
If you press any button of the smart key
during the Detect and Alert stage, the
Smart Liftgate with Auto Open function
will be deactivated.
Make sure to be aware of how to deacti

vate the Smart Liftgate with Auto Open
function for emergency situations.
NOTICE
僅 If you press the door unlock button
(5), the Smart Liftgate with Auto Open
function will be deactivated temporar

ily. But, if you do not open any door
for 30 seconds, the Smart Liftgate
with Auto Open function will be acti

vated again.
僅 If you press liftgate open button (6)
for more than 1 second, the liftgate
opens.
僅 If you press the door lock button (4) or
liftgate open button (6) when the
Smart Liftgate with Auto Open func

tion is not in the Detect and Alert
stage, the Smart Liftgate with Auto
Open function will not be deactivated.
僅 In case you have deactivated the
Smart Liftgate with Auto Open func

tion by pressing the smart key button
and opened a door, the Smart Liftgate
with Auto Open function can be acti

vated again by closing and locking all
doors.
