malfunction
When 360° camera monitoring system is
not working properly, or the screen flick
-
ers, or the camera image does not dis
-
play normally, have the function be
inspected by an authorized Kia dealer.
Limitations of 360° camera moni
-
toring system
When the vehicle is stopped for a long
time in winter or when the vehicle is
parked in an indoor parking lot, the
exhaust fumes may temporarily blur the
image.
僅 The screen may be displayed abnor
-
mally, and an icon will appear at the
top left side of the screen under the
following circumstances:
- The liftgate is opened
- The driver or front passenger door
is opened
- The outside rearview mirror is
folded
僅 ALWAYS look around your vehicle to
make sure there are no objects or
obstacles before moving the vehicle.
What you see on the screen may dif
-
fer from the actual vehicle's location.
僅 The camera used for the rear monitor
is a wide-angle lens. Since the dis
-
torted image is corrected and used,
there may be a difference with the
distance of the actual object.
僅 360° camera monitoring system is
designed to be used on a flat surface.
Therefore, if used on roads with dif
-
ferent heights such as curbs and
speed bumps, the image in the screen
my not look correct.
僅 If the camera lens is covered with for
-
eign material, the 360° camera moni
-
toring system may not operate
normally. Always keep the camera
lens clean.
However, do not use chemical sol
-
vents such as strong detergents con
-
taining high alkaline or volatile
organic solvents (gasoline, acetone
etc.). This may damage the camera
lens.
僅 If the rear view is on while driving, the
function is maintained regardless of
the vehicle speed.
僅 If you reverse when the rear view is on
while driving, it will change to the rear
view screen.
