Features of your vehicle Steering wheel
僅 A click noise may be heard from the
MDPS relay after the ignition switch or
ENGINE START/STOP button is
turned to the ON or LOCK/OFF posi
-
tion.
僅 Motor noise may be heard when the
vehicle is at a stop or at a low driving
speed.
僅 When the abnormality is detected in
the Motor Driven Power Steering sys

purposes, steering assist functions will
be stopped. At this time, the instru

blinks and the power to manipulate
the steering will be off. Please check
immediately after moving the vehicle
to a safe zone.
僅 The steering effort increases if the
steering wheel is rotated continu

it will return to its normal conditions.
僅 If the Motor Driven Power Steering
system does not operate normally, the

僅 When you operate the steering wheel
in low temperature, abnormal noise
could occur. If temperature rises, the
noise will disappear. This is a normal
condition.
