What to do in an emergency Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
CAUTION
We recommend that you use the
sealant approved by Kia if your
vehicle is equipped with a Tyre Pres
-
sure Monitoring System. The liquid
sealant can damage the tyre pres
-
sure sensors.
WARNING
TPMS
䳜 The TPMS cannot alert you to
severe and sudden tyre damage
caused by external factors such
as nails or road debris.
䳜 If you feel any vehicle instability,
immediately take your foot off
the accelerator, apply the brakes
gradually and with light force, and
slowly move to a safe position off
the road.

Protecting TPMS
Tampering with, modifying, or dis
-
abling the Tyre Pressure Monitoring
System (TPMS) components may
interfere with the system's ability
to warn the driver of low tyre pres
-
sure conditions and/or TPMS mal
-
functions. Tampering with,
modifying, or disabling the Tyre
Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
components may void the warranty
for that portion of the vehicle.
WARNING

interfere with the TPMS function.
䳜 The wheels on the market do not
have a TPMS sensor.

that you use parts for replace

ment from an authorised Kia
dealer.
䳜 If you use the wheels on the mar

ket, use a TPMS sensor approved
by a Kia dealer. If your vehicle is
not equipped with a TPMS sensor
or TPMS does not work properly,
you may fail the periodic vehicle
inspection conducted in your
country.
