Immobilizer system

anelectronicengineimmobilizer
systemtoreducetheriskof
unauthorizedvehicleuse.
Yourimmobilizersystemis
comprisedofasmalltransponder
intheignitionkeyandelectronic
devicesinsidethevehicle.
Vehicles without smart key
system
Withtheimmobilizersystem,
wheneveryouinsertyourignition
keyintotheignitionswitchandturn
ittoON,itchecksanddetermines
andverifiesiftheignitionkeyisvalid
ornot.
Ifthekeyisvalid,theenginewill
start.
Ifthekeyisinvalid,theenginewill
notstart.
To deactivate the immobilizer
system:
Inserttheignitionkeyintothe
keycylinderandturnittotheON
position.
To activate the immobilizer
system:
TurntheignitionkeytotheOFF
position.Theimmobilizersystem
activatesautomatically.Withouta
validignitionkeyforyourvehicle,
theenginewillnotstart.
Vehicles with smart key system
WhenevertheENGINESTART/STOP
buttonischangedtotheONposition,
theimmobilizersystemchecksand
verifiesifthekeyisvalidornot.
Ifthekeyisvalid,theenginewill
start.
