10minutes,oruntilthesnowand/
oriceisremovedbeforeusingthe
windshieldwiperstoensureproper
operation.Ifyoudonotremovethe
snowand/oricebeforeusingthe
wiperandwasher,itmaydamage
theWiperandwashersystem.

sensestheamountofrainfalland
controlsthewipingcycleforthe
properinterval.Themoreitrains,
thefasterthewiperoperates.When

Tovarythespeedsetting,turnthe
speedcontrolknob(1).
IfthewiperswitchissetinAUTO
modewhentheignitionswitchis
ON,thewiperwilloperateonceto
performaself-checkofthesystem.
SetthewipertoOFF(○)position
whenthewiperisnotinuse.

WhentheignitionswitchisONand
thewindshieldwiperswitchisplaced
intheAUTOmode,usecautionin
thefollowingsituationstoavoidany
injurytothehandsorotherpartsof
thebody:
• Donottouchtheupperendofthe
windshieldglassfacingtherain
sensor.
• Donotwipetheupperendofthe
windshieldglasswithadampor
wetcloth.
• Donotputpressureonthe
windshieldglass.

• Whenwashingthevehicle,set
thewiperswitchintheOFF(○)
positiontostoptheautowiper
operation.
