fully.Youcanalsostarttheengine
whentheshiftleverisintheN
(Neutral)position.
4.PresstheENGINESTART/STOP
button.
Itshouldbestartedwithout
depressingtheacceleratorpedal.
5.Donotwaitfortheengineto
warmupwhilethevehicleremains
stationary.Startdrivingat
moderateenginespeeds.(Steep
acceleratinganddecelerating
shouldbeavoided.)
Starting the diesel engine
Tostartthedieselenginewhenthe
engineiscold,ithastobepreheated
beforestartingtheengineand
thenhavetobewarmedupbefore
startingtodrive.
1.Makesuretheparkingbrakeis
applied.
2.Manual Transmission-Depress
theclutchpedalfullyandshiftthe
transmissionintoNeutral.Keep
theclutchpedalandbrakepedal
depressedwhilepressingthe
ENGINESTART/STOPbuttonto
theSTARTposition.
