Changing a tire

nopersonremaininavehiclethat
isbeingjacked.

6.Loosenthewheellugnuts
counterclockwiseoneturneach,
butdonotremoveanynutuntil
thetirehasbeenraisedoffthe
ground.

7.Placethejackatthefront(1)or
rear(2)jackingpositionclosest
tothetireyouarechanging.
Placethejackatthedesignated
locationsundertheframe.The
jackingpositionsareplateswelded
totheframewithtwotabsanda
raiseddottoindexwiththejack.
WARNING
Jack location
Toreducethepossibilityofinjury,
besuretouseonlythejackprovided
withthevehicleandinthecorrect
jackposition;neveruseanyother
partofthevehicleforjacksupport.
8.Insertthejackhandleintothejack
andturnitclockwise,raisingthe
vehicleuntilthetirejustclears
theground.Thismeasurement
isapproximately30mm(1.2in).
Beforeremovingthewheellug
nuts,makesurethevehicleis
stableandthatthereisnochance
formovementorslippage.
