Properliftingandtowingprocedures
arenecessarytopreventdamageto
thevehicle.Theuseofwheeldollies
(1)orflatbedisrecommended.
Itisacceptabletotowthevehicle
withtherearwheelsontheground
(withoutdollies)andthefront
wheelsofftheground.
Ifanyoftheloadedwheelsor
suspensioncomponentsare
damagedorthevehicleisbeing
towedwiththefrontwheelsonthe
ground,useatowingdollyunderthe
frontwheels.
Whenbeingtowedbyacommercial
towtruckandwheeldolliesarenot
used,thefrontofthevehicleshould
alwaysbelifted,nottherear.

CAUTION
• Donottowthevehiclebackwards
withthefrontwheelsonthe
groundasthismaycausedamage
tothevehicle.
• Donottowwithsling-type
equipment.Usewheelliftor
flatbedequipment.
Whentowingyourvehicleinan
emergencywithoutwheeldollies:
1.SettheignitionswitchintheACC
position.
2.Placethetransmissionshiftlever
inN(Neutral).
3.Releasetheparkingbrake.
