Warranty: 5-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for the product, and 5 years for lumber against structural failure due to rot and insect damage. Beginning of Play Season Check:
- Hardware: Inspect metal parts for rust; sand and repaint with non-lead paint if found. Inspect and tighten all hardware, being careful not to overtighten on wood assemblies to prevent crushing or splintering. Check for sharp edges or protruding screw threads and add washers if needed.
- Wood Parts: Check for deterioration, structural damage, and splintering. Sand down splinters and replace deteriorated wood members. Note that checking and small cracks in the grain are normal for wood.
- Water Repellent/Stain: Apply a water repellent or stain (water-based) yearly to maintain maximum life and performance and reduce weathering effects like water absorption, checking, warping, and fading.
Twice a Month During Play Season Check:
- Hardware: Inspect for tightness, ensuring parts are firmly against the wood but not crushing it. Do not overtighten to prevent splintering. Check for sharp edges or protruding screw threads and add washers if needed.
Disposal: When disposing of the playhouse, disassemble it to prevent unreasonable hazards and follow local waste ordinances.

Safety Warnings:

Continuous Adult Supervision Required: Most serious injuries and deaths on playground equipment occur when children are unsupervised.
Choking Hazard/Sharp Edges & Points: Adult assembly is required due to small parts and parts with sharp edges/points. Keep parts away from children until fully assembled.
Strangulation Hazard: Never allow children to play with ropes, clotheslines, pet leashes, cables, chains, or cord-like items, or attach them to the playhouse. Never allow children to wear loose-fitting clothing, ponchos, hoods, scarves, capes, necklaces, items with drawstrings, cords, or ties, or bike/sport helmets when using the playhouse.
Tip Over Hazard: Choose a level location for the equipment to reduce tipping and prevent loose-fill surfacing materials from washing away.
Assembly Completion: Do not allow children to play on the playhouse until assembly is complete.
Footwear: Children must wear well-fitting, full-foot enclosing footwear. Do not allow open-toe or heel footwear (sandals, flip-flops, clogs).
Wet Equipment: Do not permit climbing on equipment when it is wet.
Rough Play/Misuse: Do not permit rough play or use of equipment in unintended ways, such as standing, climbing on, or jumping from the roof.
Protrusion Hazard: After tightening, check for exposed threads. If a bolt protrudes beyond a T-nut, remove the bolt and add washers.
Battery Safety: Batteries should always be installed and changed under adult supervision. Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision. Use only recommended equivalent battery types. Insert batteries with correct polarity. Remove exhausted batteries and dispose of properly. Do not short-circuit supply terminals. Do not mix different types of batteries (new/used, alkaline/standard/rechargeable). Remove rechargeable batteries before charging. Dispose of exhausted batteries separately according to EU regulations to minimize environmental impact.
