Testing Voltage from Vehicle Charging System
Note on Policy of Vehicle Charging and Batteries
If a customer does not have 14V at the connecting plug or their vehicle is not wired up at the time of handover
then Kimberley Kampers can’t warrant that the vehicle will charge the battery system in the Kimberley.
You must use a digital multimeter that shows at least one and preferable 2 decimal points. Please do the
check as follows.

Voltage Reading
If any condition results in the reading of less then 14V (ie: 13.9V is not acceptable) then the vehicle may not charge correctly and
may damage the batteries.

Kimberleys are wired to industry standard and feature
a 7-pin round connector (AS 2513). They may also
be  tted with the Optional Anderson Plug for charge
current. (See below for wiring details).
Note:
For DC-DC charging of the batteries vehicle must be
equipped with proper wiring and circuit protection.
Trailer Lights/Brakes Cable
When plugging in the electrical cable, be careful that there is enough
exibility of the cable around the hitch; there is no cable exposed to the
exhaust; the cable is securely held at the vehicle end.
For safety on di cult terrain you may need to wrap some adhesive heavy
duty tape around the connector to the vehicle to ensure that it doesn’t
come out through vibration.
Anderson Charge Cable (Optional)
This is a permanent connection for enhanced battery charging. This exits
the chassis rail towards the front of the drawbar.
