MASTER POWER SWITCH
You can switch off all power to the Karavan using the Master Power Switch
located in the battery compartment inside the Multibox storage box.
MASTER POWER SHOULD ONLY BE SWITCHED ‘OFF’ IN
EMERGENCIES OR TO PROTECT BATTERIES. AVOID TURNING OFF
WHEN CAMPING.
NOTE:
When Master Power Switch is turned OFF, the only power connection to the
batteries that is still active is the Electronic Brake control unit.
Kimberley recommend you leave the unit plugged into AC power all the time IF THIS IS ELECTRICALLY
SAFE TO DO.
DO NOT leave the Karavan for long periods without activating the battery charger (at least leave it on for
2-3 days every month if everything is turned off).
If you want to store the Karavan with the isolator off please ensure you have disconnected your solar panels
as even with the van switched off the solar is so ecient it can energize some systems in the van. This
intermittent voltage is not recommended for long term exposure.
Energy System | How to Use DC & AC Systems
1. Smart Touch Display
Monitor battery capcity, voltage current, water
tank levels, solar array power, fridge temperature
and fridge power used.
2. Bench Light Switch
Control the underbench LED lighting
3. Pump 1 Switch
Control the water pump 1
4. Pump 2 Switch
Control the water pump 2
5. 12V Power Outlet & Circuit Breaker
Power for 12V DC devices.
NB: this ‘Merit’ socket requires a ‘Merit’ plug.
6. AC Power outlet
Power for AC devices.
NB: Only active when Karavan is supplied with
external AC source (generator or site power) OR
when using Inverter (if tted).
7. Inverter Display (if tted)
Monitor & control the on-board inverter.
