Troubleshooting
Troubleshooting
Suspected malfunctions are often due to causes that the users can x themselves.
Therefore check the product using this section. In most cases the problem can
be solved quickly.
WARNING! Only perform the steps described within these instructions!
All further inspection, maintenance and repair work must be performed
by an authorised service centre or a similarly qualied specialist if you
cannot solve the problem yourself!
Problem Possible cause Solution
1. Engine
does not
start
1.1. Not enough fuel in fuel
tank
1.1. Add fuel
1.2. Spark plug is wet 1.2. Dry spark plug
1.3. Spark plug is damaged 1.3. Replace spark plug
1.4. Spark plug connector is
loose
1.4. Attach properly
1.5. Ignition switch is not set
to ON/start position
1.6. Air lter is dirty
1.5. Set the ignition switch to
ON/start positon
1.6. Clean air lter
1.7. Spark plug is loose 1.7. Tighten spark plug 18-
22 Nm
