Belt deflection should be 10
to 12 mm (0.394 to 0.472
in.) when pressing the
center point of belt with the
force of 10 kgf.
Fan belt
tension
1. Stop the engine and remove the igni-
tion key.
2. Check the belt tension.
3. If the tension is out of the specified
range, adjust it.
4. Replace the belt with new one if it is
damaged.
