(1) Knob (A) Pull (1) Side Cover (2) Hook

ENGINE COVER
To open the tractor hood, pull down on
the knob while applying down pressure
on the hood.
It is not necessary to remove the side
cover to perform daily checks on your
tractor.

To avoid personal injury from con-
tact with moving parts:
Never open the hood or engine
side cover while the engine is
running.
Do not touch muffler or exhaust
pipes while they are hot; severe
burns could result.
