1. If the clutch does not operate prop-
erly due to its excessive play, ad-
(1) Clutch Pedal (2) Clutch Rod
(A) Free Play
Check wheel bolts and nuts regu-
larly especially when new. If they are
loose, tighten them as follows.
CHECKING WHEEL BOLT/NUT TORQUE (P)
ADJUSTING CLUTCH PEDAL (Q)
