Step 3. Use a stiff wire brush to remove carbon deposits from the spark arrestor screen.
Inspect the screen for holes, and replace if necessary.
Step 4. Check the muffler gasket and replace if damaged. Re-install the muffler gasket, the spark
arrestor, the muffler and the muffler protector in the reverse order of removal.
