■ Do not use the choke when the engine is warm or the air
temperature is high.
4. Pull the starter grip until resistance is felt then pull the starter grip briskly toward the arrow as
shown below.
■ Do not allow the starter grip to snap back, return it slowly by hand.
5. Move the choke lever to the RUN position after the engine warms up.
■ If the engine stops and will not restart, check the engine oil level
before troubleshooting in other areas.
