2. Remove the screw securing the oil fi lter adapter
and individual O-rings to the crankcase, then
carefully separate the parts. See Figure 8-25.

Remove Ignition Modules
1. Rotate the fl ywheel so the magnet is away from
the modules.
2. Remove the mounting screws and disconnect
the kill lead from the ignition modules. Note the
position of ignition modules. See Figure 8-26.

Remove Grass Screen and Cooling Fan
1. Remove the screws, a aching hardware and hex
studs securing the grass screen, stiff eners and
cooling fan to the fl ywheel. See Figures 8-27, 8-28
and 8-29.
