2.15.1 Alternator (A)
Externally controlled by the crankshaft by means of a belt.
Characteristics:
• Ampere: 90 A
• Volt: 12 V
2.15.3 Cold starting device (Heater)
The cold starting device consists of a resistance, managed by
the pre-heater timer H, which is activated when the ambient
temperature is ≤-16° C.
The intake air is heated through the resistance and facilitates
starting the engine.
Characteristics cold starting device:
• Type Hidria AET 12 V
• Power 550 W
2.14.4 Air cleaner clogging switch
NOTE: Component not necessarily supplied by KOHLER.
The switch is assembled on the air cleaner. When the lter is
clogged, it sends a signal to the panel.
Features:
• Operating temperature: -30 °C / +100°C
• Contact usually open.
• Contact closed by vacuum: -50 mbar.
