TROUBLESHOOTING S-1
S-1 Starting performance is poor (starting always takes time)
General causes why starting performance is poor
• Defective electrical system
• Insufficient supply of fuel
• Insufficient intake of air
• Improper selection of fuel
★ With the common rail fuel injection system, the
fuel injection timing is recognized electrically, so
even when the starting operation is carried out,
the engine may not start until the crankshaft has
completed two rotations. However, this does
not indicate any abnormality.
