6.7.4 Change of the masking
area
Although this device automatically recognizes the
exposure field area and performs masking to dis-
play within the image area, the masking area can be
changed manually when necessary.

• The viewer screen is displayed.

Using a xed size e󰀨ective image area
If you want to use a fixed size effective image area,
press [ ]. Then the following buttons are displayed.

• This function does not support the stitching and mam-
mogram images.

Number Name Functions
(1) Fixed Size
Fixes the size of the e󰀨ective
image area.
Select [8x10], [10x12], [11x14],
[14x14], [14x17], or [17x17].
(2) Direction
Switches the orientation of the
e󰀨ective image area between
portrait and landscape.
HINT
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
• The xed size e󰀨ective image area can be moved by
changing the position of the center point. If any part of
the e󰀨ective image area is moved outside the image
display area, the position of the center point is ad-
justed automatically so that the e󰀨ective image area is
included in the display area.
• If the e󰀨ective image area is not included in the image
display area after the orientation has been changed,
the size-xing setting is cleared and the size of the ef-
fective image area is reduced until it is included in the
display area.
• If the effective image area is manually resized, the
size-xing setting is cleared.
