Q7. How do I save a photo that I sent as an attachment via SMS?
To do this, open the message. Press the left soft key which will then make the word options appear. Press the
left soft key again to open options. Select and press OK on save objects. Then press OK on picture. You can
now use the keypad to type a new name for the photo. Once done, press left soft key followed by OK to save
the photo.
Q8. How can I put my phone on silent?
To put your phone on silent, all you need to do is long press the hash key (#). The phone will then vibrate and
say meeting mode activated. This is silent mode. Just long press the button again to return to general.
Q9. What do the 3 icons above the keypad numbers do?
There are 3 shortcut icons known as family numbers. You can alter these as a shortcut to call a contact. Press
Menu to open the applications list. Scroll right using the directional keys and press OK on the settings
application. The first setting should be family numbers, press OK. Now press OK on option 1 and you can go
through and alter the name, number and even include a audio recording if you wish. Repeat those steps for
buttons M2 and M3. Now if you press the red end key and go back to the main screen. You can press one of
those 3 buttons which will immediately dial the number / contact you saved.
Q10. How do I adjust the ringtone as well as its volume?
To adjust these settings, we need to locate the user profiles. From the home screen, press the left soft key to
open the applications menu. Press right on the directional keys until you see settings. Press OK key on
settings. Now click OK on user profiles. You should be highlighted over general. Press the left soft key button
and then go down to customize. Press OK key on that to customize settings. Now you can go through each
setting, including volume, phone ringtone, message tone, message volume and the default notification
sound.
Q11. How can I put a call on hold?
During the phone call, press the left soft key labelled as options. Then press OK on the first option, which is
hold single call. This will put the individual on the other end on hold. To go back, you need to press the left
soft key again. Then press OK on the first option, which is now labelled retrieve single call. To hang up the call,
press the red end key.
