WHAT RESULTS TO EXPECT /

There are no 100% perfect cures that stop 100% of the barking, this includes the Bark Free.
Within a week or two, if you haven’t noticed a significant reduction in the overall
amount of barking, especially at night, then you have a more serious problem than just simple
unnecessary nuisance and boredom barking.
A dog will always bark if harassed.
Some of the
more severe problems include:
• PROTE
CTIVE BARKING
:They may bark at trespassers or neighbors that tease or threaten
them. This may include people knocking at your door or people walking through your yard.
• D
OG
S TRAINED TO BARK:They may inadvertently be trained to bark, by receiving attention
(both positive and negative) for barking.
• F
EEDING TIME AND WORK TIME BARKING:We recommend that you disconnect Bark Free
when feeding. When walking one dog and leaving others behind, get out of sight as soon as
possible.
• HEARING PROBLEMS: Deaf dogs will not react to Bark Free. Dogs with high frequency
hearing damage may react to the audible setting. However, you and your neighbors may hear
it.
• H
IG
H STRESS ENVIRONMENTS: Bark Free is not recommended for boarding kennels, animal
shelters, and grooming salons. These locations generate protective and fear barking.
Il n’existe aucun remède miracle aux aboiements, pas même l’émetteur Bark Free. Au bout d’une
semaine ou deux, si vous n’avez pas remarqué une forte diminution des aboiements,
en particulier pendant la nuit, ceux-ci pourraient avoir une cause plus sérieuse et ne rien avoir
à faire avec des aboiements intempestifs inutiles ou indiquant l’ennui. Parmi les problèmes plus
graves, l’on cite:
• ABO
IEMENTS DE PROTECTION: Le chien peut aboyer à la vue d’un intrus ou d’un voisin
taquineur ou qu’il juge menaçant, comme par exemple lorsque quelqu’un vient frapper à
votre porte ou traverse votre jardin.
• CHIEN DRESSÉ POUR ABOYER: Le chien peut avoir été dressé par inadvertance pour aboyer,
pour avoir reçu une certaine attention (positive ou négative) lorsqu’il aboie.
• ABOIEMENTS À L’HEURE DU REPAS OU DE LA PROMENADE: Nous vous recommandons de
débrancher l’émetteur Bark Free au moment des repas. Si vous promenez un chien sans
emmener les autres, restez le moins longtemps possible dans leur champ de vision.
• PROBLÈMES DE SURDITÉ: Les chiens durs d’oreille ne réagissent pas aux sons émis par le
Bark Free. Ceux qui ont du mal à entendre les sons aigus peuvent réagir si vous réglez
l’émetteur en mode audible. Cependant vous et vos voisins entendrez peut-être aussi les
bruits de l’émetteur.
• ENVIRONNEMENTS TRÈS EXPOSÉS: L’usage de l’émetteur Bark Free est déconseillé dans les
chenils, abris pour animaux et salons de toilettage. Ces endroits génèrent des aboiements de
protection et de peur.
