Simply plug the PESTCONTRO

into an unobstructed wall
outlet in the room to be covered by ultrasonic sound power.
Coverage in a room can be improved by bouncing the sound
off reflecting objects such as walls, mirrors, cupboard doors,
and appliances. Obtaining a ricochet pattern will increase
effective coverage.
The ultrasonic sound benefits will be effective throughout
the living area of the home, only if doors are left open.
Ultrasound cannot transmit through walls and doors.
There will be a stronger effect of ultrasound within the
roomwhere it is placed. If you would like additional
ultrasound protection, we recommend you purchase an
additional PESTCONTRO

or call Koolatron™ for information
on Koolatron™ electronic products.
Will PestContro affect appliances or pets?
PESTCONTRO
®
will not affect computers or appliances. It
generates ultrasonic sound waves which are above the normal
hearing
range of humans, dogs, cats, fish, and birds.
These
ultrasonic frequencies CAN be heard by rodent pets
such
as hamsters, gerbils and rabbits. However, by positioning
the
product in areas away from the rodent pet you will not
cause
discomfort for the pet.
How do I know that PestContro
®
is working?
The RED LED indicates the electromagnetic function is on.
The
GREEN LED indicates the ultrasonic function is on.
Koolatron™ recommends
continuing the use of your current
pest control methods when installing PestContro
®
products
for maximum results as part of your total pest control program.
How many units will I need?
The PESTCONTRO
®
will transmit sound estimated to cover
an average size home. Some homes will need multiple units
throughout the home for adequate effectiveness. Because
each
home is different, set the unit in the problem area and
monitor
your results.

drapes and soft furniture
