Précautions liées à l’utilisation d’un pied
Pour garantir une utilisation correcte de ce produit, lisez aentivement et observez les
précautions suivantes.
• N’utilisez jamais le KONNECT en combinaison avec tout pied d’enceinte autre que le
modèle recommandé.
• Veillez à ce que la hauteur du pied déployé ne dépasse jamais 106 cm (voyez
l’illustration ci-dessous).
Toute tentative d’utiliser le pied à une hauteur supérieure risque de causer la chute
du système et d’éventuels dommages matériels et/ou des blessures.
• Déployez l’embase du pied pour obtenir un écart de 72 cm minimum (voyez
l’illustration ci-dessous).
Si l’écart entre les bras de l’embase est inférieur à 72 cm, cela risque de causer la chute
du système et d’éventuels dommages matériels et/ou des blessures.
• N’utilisez pas le pied d’enceinte sur une surface instable et/ou inclinée.
Toute tentative d’utiliser le pied sur une surface instable risque de causer la chute du
système et d’éventuels dommages matériels et/ou des blessures.
• Veillez à ce que tous les câbles branchés au KONNECT soient acheminés correctement
et que personne ne risque de trébucher dessus.
Si quelqu’un se prend le pied dans un câble, cela pourrait causer la chute du système
et d’éventuels dommages matériels et/ou des blessures.
• Ne posez jamais d’objet sur le KONNECT quand il est monté sur un pied d’enceinte.
Ces objets risquent de tomber ou de causer la chute du système et d’éventuels
dommages matériels et/ou des blessures.
Montage du pied et installation du KONNECT
1. Desserrez la vis de blocage 1 et déployez susamment le pied.
Dépliez le pied à fond de sorte que ses bras soient à l’horizontale.
Assurez-vous que les bras du pied sont écartés d’au moins 72 cm.
Si le pied n’est pas susamment déployé, le stand et le lecteur risquent de basculer.
2. Serrez fermement la vis de blocage 1.
3. Desserrez la vis de blocage 2 et déployez le tube supérieur.
4. Logez la goupille de blocage d’arrêt dans l’orice de le tube supérieur.
Veillez à ne pas vous pincer les doigts.
La goupille doit être en place quand vous utilisez le système.
5. Abaissez le tube supérieur jusqu’à ce qu’elle soit bloquée par la goupille de blocage.
6. Serrez fermement la vis de blocage 2.
7. Montez le KONNECT sur le tube supérieur.
Insérez le tube supérieur du ST-S80 dans la douille de montage sur le dessous du
KONNECT (l’endroit repéré par une èche sur l’illustration ci-dessous).
Précautions liées au montage
Observez les précautions suivantes quand vous montez le KONNECT sur un pied
d’enceinte.
• Vous devez impérativement vous faire aider par au moins une personne pour mere
le KONNECT en place sur le pied.
• Veillez à ne pas vous pincer les doigts.
• N’inclinez jamais le pied quand le KONNECT est installé dessus.
• N’ajustez jamais la hauteur du pied quand le KONNECT est monté dessus.
• Vériez bien que la hauteur du pied - depuis le sol jusqu’au dessous du KONNECT
(voyez l’illustration ci-dessous) ne dépasse pas 106 cm.

Using a speaker stand ST-S80 (Sold Separately)
Caution when using a stand
In order to use this product correctly, you must carefully read and observe the
following cautions.
• Do not use the KONNECT with any stand other than the recommended stand.
• Use the speaker stand at a height no greater than 106 cm (approximately 3’ 57” see
illustration below).
If you use it at any greater height, the system may overturn, causing personal injury
or equipment damage.
• Extend the legs to 72 cm (approximately 2’ 43”) or more (see illustration below).
If the legs are extended less than this, the system may overturn, causing personal
injury or damaging your equipment.
• Do not use the speaker stand in an unstable location or on a tilted surface.
If you use the speaker stand in an unstable location, the system may overturn,
causing personal injury or equipment damage.
• Take care that all cables connected to the KONNECT are routed appropriately to
avoid tangling.
If a person’s foot becomes caught in a cable, the system may overturn, causing
personal injury or equipment damage.
• Do not place any object on a KONNECT that is mounted on a speaker stand.
Such objects may fall or cause the stand to overturn, causing personal injury or
equipment damage.
Assembling the stand and mounting the KONNECT
1. Loosen knob 1 and open the tripod suciently.
Open the stand all the way until the stays are horizontal.
Make sure that the legs are at least 72 cm (approximately 2’ 43”) apart.
If the legs are not suciently far apart, the stand may overturn.
2. Firmly tighten knob 1.
3. Loosen knob 2 and extend the upper pipe.
4. Insert the stopper into the hole of the upper pipe.
Take care not to pinch your ngers.
The stopper must be inserted when you use the system.
5. Lower the upper pipe until it stops at the stopper.
6. Firmly tighten knob 2.
7. Mount the KONNECT on the upper pipe.
Insert the upper pipe of the ST-S80 into the mounting socket located on the boom of
the KONNECT (the location indicated by the arrow in the illustration below).
Caution when mounting
Observe the following cautions when mounting the KONNECT on a speaker stand.
• You must obtain the help of at least one other person when mounting the
KONNECT on a stand.
• Take care not to pinch your ngers.
• Do not tilt the stand with the KONNECT mounted on it.
• Never adjust the height of the stand while the KONNECT is mounted on it.
• Make sure that the height from the oor to the boom of the KONNECT (see
illustration below) is no more than 106 cm (approximately 3’ 57”).
