VM-1610 Quick Start Guide
This guide helps you install and use your VM-1610 for the first time.

Step 2: Get to know your VM-1610

POWER Switch
Illuminated power switch to turn the unit on and off.

CH 2 LEVEL (LEFT, RIGHT) Trimmers
Turn to adjust the left and right audio gains of channel 2.

MODE (1:10, 2x1:5) Button
Press to select 2x1:5 output, release to select 1:10 output.

CH 1 LEVEL (LEFT, RIGHT) Trimmers
Turn to adjust the left and right audio gains of channel 1.

CHANNEL 1 OUT Terminal Blocks
Connect to the channel 1 balanced stereo acceptors (1 to 5).

CHANNEL 1 INPUT Terminal Block
Connect to balanced stereo source 1.

CHANNEL 2 INPUT Terminal Block
Connect to balanced stereo source 2.

CHANNEL 2 OUT Terminal Blocks
Connect to the channel 1 balanced stereo acceptors (6 to 10) or connect to the
channel 2 balanced stereo acceptors (1 to 5).

Step 3: Mount VM-1610
To rack mount the machine, attach both rack ears
(by removing the screws from each side of the
machine and replacing those screws through the
rack ears) or place the machine on a table.
• Ensure that the environment (e.g., maximum ambient temperature &
air flow) is compatible for the device.
• Avoid uneven mechanical loading.
• Appropriate consideration of equipment nameplate ratings should be
used for avoiding overloading of the circuits.
• Reliable earthing of rack-mounted equipment should be maintained.
