• Pull apart the PTO shaft.
• Slide the PTO shaft (1) onto the tractor PTO shaft.
• Slide the PTO shaft with the overload protection feature
(2) onto the machine shaft.
• Measure the overlap.
• Complete length adjustment in accordance with the
operating instructions provided by the manufacturer of
the PTO shaft.

A1.4.3 Length Adjustment
The length of the PTO shaft (1) needs to be adjusted.
The shortest operating position will be used in sharp
curves.
• Hitch the round baler to the tractor.
• Take up the shortest operating position for the
PTO shaft.
A1.4.2 Attaching the guard cup for universal
shaft

shaft.
Effect: Risk of injury when drawing in open
long hair, jewellery or baggy clothes.
• The machine may only be operated with
an attached guard cup.
• Guard cup (1) take out of the twine box.
• Remove the three pre-mounted screws at the transfer
gearbox and washers (2).
• Push guard cup (1) over P.T.O. shaft (3) and install it
with the three screws and washers (2) in that way, that
the great bore hole is all the way up around the
circumference of the guard cup (1).
