5.5 Adjusting baling diameter
(COMPRIMA V 150 ,V 180)

Baling diameter is preselected using the adjusting segment
located behind the front right guard and is set from inside
the twine box via the wing nut (2) on the righthand side.
Baling diameter preset:
• Switch on electrical controls.
• Manually lift both baling pressure indicators (1) to the
required position (bale diameter) (e.g. 10 =1.0 m,
12 =1.2 m).
• Loosen the wing nut (2) in the twine box and move the
bolt with wing nut in the slot until the Alpha control unit
(Medium) indicator lights are lit and the horn sounds.
• Tighten the fly nut inside the twine box.
Do not preselect the baling diameter in
automatic mode.
