Basic Settings and Operation
5.8.9 Setting the Number of Net Winds
The number of net winds is set at the control.
KRONE operation terminal Alpha (medium)
Switch on the control, and use the + or – key to set the
average number per net wind (see Table)

5.8.8 Tying position
Bring up the "Motor Position Sensor Test" menu on the
control unit (in the Comfort version) or "Motor Position
Setting" (in the Medium version).
Initiate tying position by pressing the corresponding
key.
The engine automatically approaches the tying
position.
Once the engine has reached the tying
position, the cable (1) must not be tight
and the roller (2) must be resting in front
of the ratchet mechanism (3). If this is
not the case, check the settings of the
cut-off position and the feed position
and adjust as necessary.

decrease the number of net winds.
Read off the set value on the bar graph (11).
Please refer to the following table for the assignment of
bale size, set level and number of net winds.

In Comfort operation, the default bale size and the number
of net winds are used to automatically determine the net
length.
